art exhibition

While in my first year of college a friend asked me and another artist to join him him in organising a three person exhibition of our work. There was no set theme or objective. It was just a chance for us to show off our work in public for the first time and have fun with it. At the time i was experimenting a lot in college so i decided to go all out. I used crunched up tayto packets as my brush and black ink to paint with. I dashed it on the page randomly and then afterwards tryed my best to form it into an image. Old stone sculptures seemed like the best subjects as they have grainy textures that mirror the random ink patterns. All in all it was just a fun experience where I played around with mediums and styles.
